The Gift of Miracles: 

My granddaughter died in an emergency room and was placed on life saving equipment to keep her body in a live state.  I was told she was dead and would not ever breathe on her own again, but God had spoken to me the minute she died that she would live.  He dropped a supernatural faith and peace into my heart.  I prayed Psalms 118:17 NKJV  "She (I) shall not die, but live, And declare the works of the LORD" one time each day for the three days she was supposed to be dead.   On the third day,  they removed the machines (thinking she would remain dead), but she did breathe again and walked out of the hospital that day.    Now that was a Miracle.  (See the Powerful Praying page about praying with scripures.)

About seven to eight years ago, my mother fell down concrete steps to a concrete driveway, hitting a car with her face.  She laid there like she fell, bleeding from her mouth, with her eyes open and set (like in death).  My son ran to her and turned her head to prevent strangulation.  He said she did not have a pulse or heartbeat.  I was crying and praying in my 'prayer language' for close to fifteen minutes or more when her body jerked, and she began to breathe just as the ambulance arrived.  (It took that long to get a phone and for the ambulance to arrive.)   You can read more about the 'prayer language' on the page entitled "Powerful Praying".  It is very powerful to pray in your 'prayer language', because it is actually the Lord praying through us.   Now I call this a Miracle.

A few years ago, I would bake Honey Bread (delicious) very often, and I would take some of it to my elderly widow neighbor every time I baked a loaf.  One afternoon I finished a loaf and started to cut some off to take to her, and the Lord said give it all to her.  Well, I reminded the Lord that I used all my honey on this loaf even scraping the last drop out with a butter knife and it was too late to go buy more honey.  Well, He reminded me that I was to obey Him so I took the whole loaf to her and told her what the Lord had said.  When I walked back to my house and began to clean the kitchen, I reached for the empty honey jar to throw it away, and 'lo and behold' it was almost filled to the top.  I thought, 'no way, and I poured some out in my hand to see if maybe I had filled the jar with some water and forgot about it.  But no, it was thick whole honey.  So I made another loaf, which could probably be called the Holy Honey Loaf.  Now that was a Miracle.

People can be healed by simply praying in faith, standing on the healing scriptures, or having another Christian pray for them.  Also, the Word of God says to ask the elders of the Church to anoint and pray for your healing.  One of the gifts of the Spirit is called the 'Gifts' of Healing.  Some people are blessed with this gift, and usually other Gifts of the Spirit.  The nine Gifts of the Spirit are  found in I Corinthians 12:7-11:   (1) The Word of Wisdom,  (2) Word of Knowledge, (3) Discerning of spirits, (4) Faith, (5) Gifts of Healing, (6) Miracles, (7) Prophecy, (8) Tongues, (9) Interpretation.  Bro. W.V. Grant is one pastor who has the Gifts of Healing ministry, as well as the gifts of discernment plus other gifts.  Bro. Branham had these same gifts of healing and discernment, and he placed his mantle on Bro. Grant just before he died.  Bro.Branham told the person he was about to pray for their names, sometimes addresses and the names of their doctors, and other facts about their sickness.  Bro. Grant also ministers this way with many being saved in every meeting.  This builds their faith to know that God is going to heal them if He can reveal things about them to the one who prays for their healing.  The following testimony is about major healings I personally received in Bro. Grant's ministry.  (In one meeting a few years ago, Bro. Grant also told me two weeks before my birthday that one of my sons would be in church with me by my birthday.  This son had been out of church for years, but God did what He said through Bro. Grant's prophecy.  This son, Greg, was not only in church by my birthday, but like the prodigal son he also had returned to the Lord and is still in church serving God today.)

• After a doctor made an x-ray of my neck, I was told that the first three bones in my neck were fused together and had probably been fused together since my birth.  After Bro. Grant prayed for my neck, all the 'never-ending' pain left.  I went back to my doctor who took another x-ray.  When comparing the x-rays, he just sat down and said three times he was impressed because the bones were no longer fused.  (This would also involve the Gift of Miracles, since a creative miracle took place.)
• Another time, a doctor had told me my immune system was not functioning.  I tried everything to build my immune system back, but nothing worked.  I continued to get weaker and weaker and even my eyesight began to fail (below 50/50 even with glasses on).  I knew I was in the throes of a slow death - I was growing weaker everyday.  Then I went to another W.V. Grant meeting.  He called me out and said, "You can't see me too good."  I shook my head yes.  Then he said, "I see the cells in your body that are deteriorating and not being replaced."  Then he touched my forehead with only one finger.  I felt like something like a bolt of lightning go from the top of my head down to my feet.  I knew I was healed because my eyesight went back to normal, and I felt stronger immediately.  That was a few years ago, and I am still healed.  (This could even fall under the Miracle category also.)
• Wanda Johnson, my 73-year-old widow friend had tests done by her doctor.  His Report said she needed double bypass heart surgery.  He told her if she made it through the surgery her body would be swollen three times her size, and she would be the ventilator and also on dialysis for a long time.  Because of prayer she breezed through the surgery, but she still had a BBB (blockage) in her heart.  After Bro. Grant prayer for her, she has had no problems with her heart, and she is now 81 years old.   (wvgrant.com)
